Where is my data stored?
All event, guest, and seating data lives on your device, encrypted at rest by iOS. Nothing is uploaded to a server. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Can I sync between iPhone and iPad?
Not yet. iCloud sync is on the roadmap and will be opt-in when released. For now, use the JSON Backup export to move events between devices manually.
How do I import guests from a spreadsheet?
Open an event, tap Import Data, and pick a CSV or Excel file. WithJoy export files are supported directly.
Auto-assign left some guests unseated. Why?
Tap the unassigned guest list to see the reason for each (capacity full, keep-apart conflict, no compatible group, etc.). Try relaxing constraints or increasing table sizes.
How do I back up my events?
Open the More menu, choose Checkpoints, and tap Save Checkpoint. You can also export a JSON backup from the dashboard menu and store it in Files or share via AirDrop.
I lost my data after restoring my device. Can it be recovered?
If you did not export a JSON backup or save a checkpoint before the restore, the data cannot be recovered. We strongly recommend exporting a backup before any device migration.
Does the app work offline?
Yes. The app is fully offline. No network connection is required for any feature.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad running iOS 17 or later. The app adapts its layout: tab-based on iPhone, split-view with drag-and-drop on iPad.
